What our chauffeur service covers in Davos
Davos is a congress venue, a winter sports resort and a holiday destination all at once. These are the rides we handle most often.
Zurich Airport – Davos transfer
Most guests arrive via Zurich Airport. The route follows the motorway along Lake Walen to Landquart, then climbs through the Prättigau valley to Davos, around 160 kilometres in all, roughly two hours in normal conditions. We track your flight, meet you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and drive you to your accommodation without any changes.
Basel – Davos transfer
Davos is about 230 kilometres from our base in Basel, just under three hours depending on traffic. We pick you up at home, at your hotel or at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse. If you have a meeting in Zurich first, we plan a stop along the way.
WEF and congresses
During the World Economic Forum in January, Davos operates security zones, access restrictions and badge rules. Our chauffeurs know the procedures and coordinate rides between the airport, your hotel and the congress centre. For conferences outside WEF week we also provide vehicles with a chauffeur on call. See our WEF Davos transfer page for more.
Spengler Cup and the winter season
Between Christmas and New Year, Davos hosts the Spengler Cup, one of the oldest ice hockey tournaments in the world. In winter we take skiers to the lifts at Parsenn, Jakobshorn or Rinerhorn and collect them after the day on the slopes. Skis and luggage fit easily in the V-Class.
Davos, Klosters and the Engadine
Klosters is about 20 minutes down the valley. St. Moritz is reached over the Flüela Pass into the Engadine, around an hour and twenty minutes. If the pass is closed in winter, we take the route via Lenzerheide and the Julier Pass or the Vereina car train from Klosters.
Vehicles for mountain roads
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class suits solo travellers and business appointments; the V-Class Black Edition is made for families, groups and trips with winter sports equipment. In winter all vehicles run on winter tyres, and our chauffeurs drive the Prättigau route regularly, snow included.
