Chauffeur service in Europe's capital
Strasbourg is home to the European Parliament and the Council of Europe, a university city and one of the most popular destinations in Alsace. These are the rides we drive most often.
Basel – Strasbourg transfer
Strasbourg is about 140 kilometres from Basel via the A35, roughly an hour and a half in normal traffic. No changing trains and no hunting for parking: we drive you from your front door, hotel or office straight to your destination. On the way you can work, take calls or prepare for your meeting in peace.
European Parliament and Council of Europe
The European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights sit in the European Quarter on the Ill. During the Parliament's plenary weeks, held around twelve times a year, hotels and car services across the city are heavily booked. For delegations and teams we arrange several vehicles and, on request, a chauffeur on call for the whole session week.
Airports around Strasbourg
Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport is about 15 kilometres south-west of the city. Many international connections, however, run through EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse, Zurich Airport or Frankfurt. We pick you up at the airport of your choice, track your flight and meet you in the arrivals hall with a name sign.
Old town, cathedral and Petite France
The Grande Île with Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Neustadt from the German imperial era are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The old tanners' quarter of Petite France, with its half-timbered houses and the Ponts Couverts, is just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. Much of the centre is pedestrianised; your chauffeur drops you as close as possible and picks you up again at the agreed meeting point.
Christkindelsmärik and congresses
Strasbourg's Christmas market, the Christkindelsmärik, is one of the oldest in Europe and spreads across the whole city centre during Advent. The Palais de la Musique et des Congrès and the Parc des Expositions also host trade fairs and congresses throughout the year. During those weeks it pays to book early.
Crossing the border
The drive from Basel to Strasbourg crosses into France. Switzerland is part of the Schengen Area, but checks can happen at any time, so every passenger should carry a valid passport or national ID card.
